Vault Basic 2016 Essentials introduces AutodeskÂ® Vault Basic 2016 to end users and CAD administrators. AutodeskÂ® Vault Basic is the foundation module of the data management solution from Autodesk, enabling users to consolidate and organize all product information securely for easy reference, sharing, and re-use purposes. This course is intended for users and CAD administrators who need to access their design files from Autodesk Vault. It focuses on capabilities for managing design files and related documentation. Hands-on exercises are included to reinforce how to manage the design workflow process using AutodeskÂ® Vault Basic. Students are taught how to locate, view, modify, create, copy, and re-use files.

Students should have a good working knowledge of Autodesk CAD programs.
PILOT Class Prerequisites: For students attending via the PILOT web access program; having the Vault Software along with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and AutoCAD Mechanical installed and active will be required in order to participate in all exercises. Access to a high-speed internet connection, and either microphone and speakers or telephone access are also required to participate. Also recommended but not required, a second monitor will greatly enhance the PILOT learning experience.
