This course will introduce you to large scale motion, large deformation, large strain with contact, and non-linear material analysis capabilities available within Autodesk® Simulation Mechanical. This course assumes that you have a working knowledge of the Autodesk Simulation Mechanical user interface and basic FEA theory.
Set up events and Prescribed Motion
Create Contact and Impact pairs
Set up properties and settings for Non-Linear Materials
Analyze buckling analyses
Use results-based loading to define new environment variables
Perform thermal stress analysis
It is recommended that you attend the Autodesk Simulation Mechanical - Part 1 course prior to attending this class. Many people choose to take both Part 1 & 2 in the same week.
