Autodesk Showcase is a powerful visualization program adopted by the building design community when Autodesk included it with the Building Design Suites. Using one of the Suites Workflow, getting a Revit model into Showcase involves less than 5 mouse clicks. Showcase allows designers to walk through a model with realistic materials and validate design intent with clients and decision makers to help better understand what the final product will be. Showcase is designed to be an advanced model navigation and visualization application, not a 3D Modeling program, therefore, users do not need to know how to use Revit to work in the software, making it an appropriate tool for Project Managers, Project Architects and any other team member required to meet with clients and communicate design intent, but don’t need to work in the production environment.
