With Reality Capture, Point Clouds and Photogrammetry technology on the Autodesk ReCap platform we are able to update conventional workflows for capturing existing environments. Traditional methods were often error prone, inefficient and took professionals away from the office. With Autodesk ReCap, we are able to utilize new tools to capture As-Built conditions and bring them into the digital world on our desktops and mobile platforms. In this course we will discuss the ReCap User Interface and the workflows involved with preparing Point Clouds for use downstream in design software packages. We also discuss the ReCap Photo tools and workflows for building 3D models from Photographs. We will then go through the process of bringing our ReCap processed Point Cloud into Autodesk Revit for As-Built BIM modeling. Finally, we discuss the options available on the Autodesk Cloud for Point Cloud sharing and Project Team Collaboration through ReCap 360.
Required Software: ReCap Pro version purchased or software installed within last 30 days.
