Building Projects are often developed in Phases and must be designed accordingly in Revit. In today’s building market we commonly retrofit existing environments which requires Demolition, Temporary and eventually New Construction. We have to deliver plans illustrating each of these scenarios. We will review the varying display and creation options for Phases. In our designs we often have repetitive layouts and components. Groups allow us to efficiently reproduce consistent design scenarios throughout projects. We will review the options for creating and utilizing Groups. Clients often ask for Design Alternates, these are created with the Design Options tool. We will take a look at the various options for creating and modifying Design Options.
Use Phasing Tools to create, Demolish, and Propose new or Alternate Design concepts
Understand and utilize Groups for greater efficiency and consistency in Design
Create and use Design Options to iterate Alternate Design concepts
Students need to have taken their discipline’s Fundamentals course: Revit Architecture Fundamentals, Revit MEP Fundamentals and/or Revit Structure Fundamentals
